Day 4 at Khao Lak

We woke up early in the morning because we are going to visit one last place in phuket before going back to hatyai.Photo above is one of the scooter available in Thailand.Motorbike and scooter is so common in thailand simply because they are covenient.Thai rules stated that when one motor bike get hit by a car or a car hit a motorbike, the motorbike always win the charge,LOL.In other words, the smallest will win no matter what happend,Luckily such law does not exist in malaysia,or else the road bullies will own the road day and night,swt..
We visited Kho Lak at 9 a.m.The photo aboves is showned in a museum.Tsunami hit Phuket in 2004.Kao Lak is the place recieving the most damages.4000 souls has lost during the 2 wave current that wash off almost the whole Kao Lak.May the soul rest in peace in heaven...

The museum is quite small, surrounded by trees.

This kid is damn cute,right?haha..khao Lak was almost destroyed during the tsunami invasion.Following the tsunami of December 2004 the local economy was ruined as it was in nearly all coastal towns hit by the devastating wave. It is estimated that 60 percent of the resorts were mid-construction, with nearly 4,000 rooms already available. Most coastal resorts were either heavily damaged or completely demolished, resulting in a great loss of life and major blow to the local tourist economy. At the time of the tsunami, Khao Lak was Thailand's fastest growing tourist destination. After wave and wave of hardship,Khao Lak has rebuild and become a more family orientated resort.Hotel range from cheap home stay to 6 star hotel.

The ship was blown to the shore of the beach during the tsunami invasion. But tsunami is natural disaster,no one should be blame on that, and that's also one the reason why phuket regain its popularity among tourists.Well,Bali is different story...
After visiting khao Lak,we head back to hatyai.
